Tasman Holiday Parks - Hahei Beach sits along a 1600 ft stretch of Hahei Beach with a private entrance through the dunes. The property includes an electric vehicle charging station, over 100 powered sites, a convenience store, and a shared kitchen with large fridges and freezers for guest use. A hot tub on the dunes, a children's playground, and picnic areas with BBQ facilities are available across the lush grounds.

Accommodation

The resort offers self-contained cabins with full kitchens that can sleep up to eight guests, as well as Seaside View Villas with balconies overlooking the ocean. Accommodation options range from budget cabins with queen beds and kitchenettes to beachfront Townhouses with washing machines and tumble dryers. Each unit provides linen, towels, tea towels, utensils, cookware, toasters, and small fridges.

Location

Guests can walk from the resort directly to Cathedral Cove by following the beach and connecting to the Cathedral Cove walkway, a roughly one-hour walk each way. Hot Water Beach is a 10-minute drive from the property, and the resort also gives direct access to the Te Whanganui A Hei Marine Reserve for snorkeling and fishing. The center of Hahei village is five minutes away on foot, with coffee shops, a liquor store, and trip operators for local tours.

Dining

The Deck is an outdoor dining area on site that serves wood-fired pizzas and burgers along with a selection of local brews from the bar. A coffee shop next to the camp office offers daily coffee. Grocery deliveries can be arranged, and the convenience store stocks essential items for self-catering.

Family & Children

The resort has kids' outdoor play equipment, a children's playground, and a family-friendly atmosphere across the grounds. Tours or classes about local culture and water sport facilities on site give children and adults activities suited to all skill levels. Family cabins accommodate up to eight guests and come with travel cots, high chairs, and gated decking on certain units.
